   MACTA, in collaboration with the Innovative Film Academy, Bangalore, is excited to announce the launch of the MACTA Innovative Film Academy (MIFA) in Kochi. The agreement between MACTA and the Innovative Film Academy was signed on August 1, 2023.
   A three-day film workshop was successfully held at MACTA John Paul Hall from November 20 to November 22, 2023.
   The Annual General Body Meeting of MACTA took place on June 30, 2024, at Ashirbhavan Hall, Kochi.

Malayalam Cine Technicians Association, MACTA is the first formal organization formed by the creative technicians of Malayalam Motion Picture Industry.

The Malayalam Cine Technicians Association (MACTA) is the first formal organization established by creative technicians of the Malayalam Motion Picture Industry on May 8th, 1994. Formed to promote the welfare of its members and the overall betterment of Kerala’s film industry and cinematic art, MACTA is registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific, and Charitable Societies Registration Act 12 of 1955. The association aims to unite the creative technicians of the Malayalam film industry on a common platform, fostering cooperation and understanding among members to achieve unity in protecting their rights, interests, and benefits. read more
